The venerable F/A-18 first entered service in 1983/4 and has continued to receive upgrades that make it one of the most potent fighters and ground attack aircraft in the world. In the late 90's, the original hornet was upgraded with a number of improvements to increase its service life and capabilities, which transformed it into the Super Hornet. These improvements included reshaped intakes and significantly reworked leading edge extensions, which we've modeled faithfully in our sign.

This sign is perfect, exactly what I ordered. Looks great and is the perfect size. The Mach X crew were super helpful and communicative every step of the way. Definitely recommend Mach X signs for every aviator!
